The Sky over the Minnesota Legislature would be a different color....and possibly we would have passed the high water mark for the DFL dominance. ???

This "one party rule" stuff Sucks Weiner Big time.

The National Talking heads are describing Franken as a 'sitting duck' Lets hope we can start paying his generous retirement benefits very soon.

Visualize for a moment a Pro-Second Amendment Minnesota house.

It's entirely possible that could happen in November with your help.

6pm hearing only tomorrow. The objectionable bill has been removed from the noon hearing.

Woo hoo!

Could this be of those things where Shortshanks will suddenly reschedule it only a few minutes before, thereby screwing us out of attendance?
Tony Martin. It could happen to us.

Bloomberg Rights Deprivation Bill Scheduled for 6 P.M. Thursday

Civil rights opponent Ron Latz, chairman of the powerful Senate Judiciary Committee, introduced SF2639, a bill that would create de facto confiscation of firearms from persons accused of domestic violence. THE BILL WILL BE HEARD THURSDAY EVENING, March 20, at 6 p.m. in Room 15 of the Capitol.

While GOCRA has no love for wife-beaters, this bill goes far beyond protecting victims, and would impose a back-door theft of personal property through exorbitant fees.

Good work on framing the issue: Rights Deprivation.

I like associating Latz with 'Civil Rights Obstructionist' It evokes "Racist White-Cracker"

Anything is possible - but this removal was solely the result of GOCRA's work. They don't have stomach for overt gun control anymore....and have to hide behind domestic abuse and subtle language now.

??? Last poll I saw had Franken with a 55% approval rating. He looks like a shoo-in for reelection.

what about this affordable care act jazz? a few years ago nobody wanted it. but it stiil came to pass, even though noone wants it? there used to be healthcare programs for poor people what happens to those? the thing that should make it illegal is that we aren't supposed to be required to purchase anything by a mandate, or something like that?

Has anyone heard him put more than 2 sentences together?

With the right campaign he can be made to look like 'Americas' Buffoon'

....HE WON BY 315 WRONGLY COUNTED VOTES....HE WAS THE 60TH VOTE FOR FRICKING OBAMACARE.

I'm not defending the guy. I'd vote him out in a heartbeat. Fact is however, since his election 5 years ago he has performed to the satisfaction of the majority of Minnesota voters that have been polled. 55% approval statewide, something like 68% approval in the Twin Cities Metro area. I'd say he's a lock for re-election.

On a positive note....55% is close....I would imagine that the ratio of Socialist to Conservative in the UK, France, Other EU countries is more like 3-1 4-1.

and that this is a winnable fight...one element is 'who wants it more'...ALFRANK is fat and happy, the conservatives are 'hungry'

Should MN be represented by ALFRANK and Sillyplumpgirlwithbadglasses (her Indian Name) ? Hell no.

The Broncos were supposed to win the Super Bowl by 3 points. They lost 43-8 43-8.
