The truth of the matter is that after Katrina, there are very few gun owners who aren't hyper-sensitive about confiscation. Since then, oathkeepers has had a big Impact among LEO and military, too. Bundy ranch also had an important impact on the psyche of gun owners. After the forced registration imposed in Connecticut, folks refused to comply numbering in the 100,000's. At first, citizens taunted the governor to answer if he intended to go door to door for seizures. Ultimately, he had to admit that he would not, proving that the law was more bark than bite. Now, CT has laws that are unenforceable. What is most interesting is that while this was all happening and right on the heels of Bundy, lots of folks were planning a CT road trip. The governor was also made aware of this. Had he been obstinate, the potential for the "next civil war" was at hand. All this to say, it won't take long for news to spread of door kickin' and gun grabbin'. I expect a great many to mobilize. What ever happens will be up to law enforcement.
