I wish someone would have dissected the numbers that Nancy spewed forth from her talking points. Although Bryan spoke of how many of the total deaths are caused by long guns, of any type each year, the 30,000 number while accurate is approximately 65% suicide. If I remember right, I looked up the suicide rates in a number of countries, and found the difference is not so much in the rate, but in the method. Its kind of like saying if you have a gun in the house you are more likely to die of a gun shot than if you don't have a gun in the house!
