You believe that is "genuine"? Seems like politics by those who play the game. Ya, the system works....

I know her, and yes, I believe that is genuine.

Is it a huge surprise to learn that accuser Sarah Walker is most recently a lobbyist for the Everytown For Gun Safety Action Fund?

Actually, she's been a lobbyist for Everytown for years - that's a re-registration due to a legal entity change. It's not recent.

Only since 2013, and the encounter in question happened in 2010. Making it look an awful lot like she didn't want to report Mr. Cornish when she needed something from him, but was prepared to do so when it suited the interest of her client. I don't know if that is the case, but to me that is how it looks.

If any of you don't think the Cornish allegations were driven by the anti-gun crowd you're nuts. This is entirely an accusation of convenience, taking advantage of the current climate of this topic to secure a political victory. As for why it worked, there must have been some type of relationship involved back in 2010, probably with text messages or pictures being sent, that was going to be the leverage for a 'lawsuit'. So, while there may have been something to the situation, it was brought up now for politics. If it was personally important to this lobbyist she would have done something back in 2010.

Regarding Franken and Ellison. What makes you think Ellison would be any less electable than Franken was? Both are s***bags. And both are liberal wet dreams. I doubt the numbers have changed so the election would go the same way it did before for Spankenberry.

This should be made public and the media should be digging into this. How do we help that happen?

It doesn't really overshadow the fact that Cornish is a d bag for what he allegedly did, which since he's not fighting it he must have.

Respectfully, I disagree that this was driven by the anti-gun crowd. If it had been, I'd be the first person screaming about it.

They gain nothing w/ Cornish's ouster - the new incoming Chairman/Chairwoman will be a pro-gun rights Republican. Cornish will be replaced in his seat in the chamber through a special election by a pro-gun rights Republican.

We stand a good chance of replacing the anti-gun Schoen with a pro-gun rights candidate as well.

This has now become the Zero Tolerance school expulsion for a plastic butter knife of the adult world. Any accusation of impropriety, no matter how slight or long ago, is not only worthy of reprimand, but immediate termination. Reap what you sow, you condescending elites.
