I received a very gracious phone call this afternoon from our Representative in Mille County (Rep. Gail Kulick Jackson (DFL) District: 16A). She thanked me for expressing my interest in this legislation, but then brought up a good point. The NRA is taking a neutral stance here. Most of the folks she has heard from so far, are from outstate Minnesota and a very much pro the passage of this bill. They could care less what happens in the Twin Cities, though I countered with the argument that once the Twin Cities is declared a "special gun zone," we are in for a heap of trouble.

Please call your representative. They have not heard from enough of you, and emails are too easy to delete.

They are short-sighted idiots.
