That is correct, I did ask about the Constitution, since it is the Constitution and not the Declaration of Independence that is the supreme law. However, if you want, you can explain the same thing for DoI.

The mere mention of a higher being does not make a Christian principle. Most of the world's religions have at least one. I did ask for a principle.
