I appreciate him being so open about his views. I will never shop in any of his stores for sure now. I am not sure I would have anyway, but for sure now. Wandered through a Camping world in Rogers. What a dump an really nothing I wanted - seemed more geared towards RVs.

I have not really shopped at Gander in years. I have been through them and picked up a few things but not really shopped. With their prices I am surprised they didn't go belly up sooner. I can not imagine that with this new owner they will be resurrected into any place I will want to shop.

Cabela's has better prices and with the credit card and points it works out great.

Bass Pro and all the other places online have better prices than Gander even with shipping costs. Fleet Farm is my go to for many things.

With all the competition Gander had to excel at something. Cost, service... They did not differentiate themselves from their competition and with the prices they gave customers every reason to go elsewhere.

We just took a trip to Hawaii. With the points on the Cabela's card I am most of the way to either a Ruger Mark IV or a S&W Victory.

Who does he think buys those RVs that he sells parts and accessories for? It is not the Whole Foods, diversityville, bicycle commuting types.

It does make me wonder what other retailers may enter into firearms sales. Maybe a resurgence of small locally owned gun shops or sporting goods stores.

I have always distanced myself from Gouger Mountain and NASCAR as well. Both are colossal wastes of time.

Lost his first biggy from me. Camping world was cheapest for new tires for our 38 foot 5th wheel but spent my $1000 elsewhere.

I'm glad my 50% off Garmin e-collar money went to someone else last week.

I'm already used to not shopping at gander and camping world so this doesn't really change much for me.
