As I type this there is a guy testifying that he is a 'victim of gun violence' because his brother murdered someone during an armed robbery, and now, like so many African-American men, is in jail....

I could not believe that crap. He completely made this whole deal about African Americans being victims. I almost fell out of my seat.

On a lighter note, I am really impressed with what Cara Shulz had to say.

Watching the live stream right now for the evening hearings. I want to thank everyone who is attending these hearings. This is amazing to see the overwhelming support for our 2nd Amendment rights. Especially coming from very cool, level-headed people, from all walks of life. Again, thank you everyone so much!

That can't be said enough.
Thanks to the men and women who've thus far taken the time away from their families, jobs, and lives to stand up.
You are appreciated, and won't be forgotten.
Highest Regards,

It was great seeing old friends and making a few new ones this am.
The turnout was outstanding! We'll be there tomorrow wearing our new T-shirts and the buttons!

Thank you everyone who could make it. I'm up north and wish I could but there is just no way right now. It warms me to see the show of support. Keep it up, I will do what I can.

I sure enjoyed the question to Jim Davnie (DFL) when he was asked by Rep Newberger (R) if he actually talked to the staff of the school and did they really state they felt unsafe. He called BS on Davnie's BS.

On edit: The next 40 minutes makes me sick.

Hey now guys... While I do appreciate all of your efforts today; leave some for me on Thursday!
I mean if 'they' capitulate before then, sure I'll be able to keep my guns and religion, but I don't know what I'd do without my bitterness.

See me or Mark Okern or any other GOCRA volunteer at the table immediately outside of the hearing room.

$1 for a button, $5 for a shirt.
