624.714 says BAC max. for carry is 0.04.

WTF, how did I get that into my head then. Good thing I have a personal 0.0 rule then I suppose.

" Any bill not returned by the governor within three days (Sundays excepted) after it is presented to him becomes a law as if he had signed it...."

I thought this would become a pocket veto, and be the same as a veto by the Governor.

Pocket veto happens when the house and senate are not in session. When they are, it's a pocket signature.

So tomorrow is the deadline right? By end of business tomorrow we should see what the fate/next step for this bill is?

He has until midnight tomorrow to veto and it looks like he's posturing for a veto.

So do we have any chance of getting it pushed through the legislature? I know it was close on the vote.

I think that also is highly unlikely as it will probably not gain support after a veto

If we keep up the pressure it'll go through. If we roll over and take it then yes they will move on to the next line item.

The reps all have their talking points now for election: "I TRIED to get this through but that evil thug Dayton stopped it." So they don't really care if it passes unless its something they're passionate about.

We should put pressure on the legislature. If my memory serves the vote was very close to veto proof, under five votes wasn't it?

If this is an issue we care about then we should be doing everything we can to get it through.

Well an attitude like that certainly won't get us anywhere.

Didn't take my call -- I tried commenting through Twitter, but I think I was too late.

Still listening...

I've been on hold for 35 minutes, don't think they'll be taking my tough question. Just hung up.

They've also ignored my twitters. They won't put any tough questions to their Democratic buddy.

Minnesota Propaganda Radio is bad for my BP.
