He'd definitely shake things up. He isn't real diplomatic. I like that. I'd vote for him too.

I wouldn't vote for that chickenhawk SOB if he was the only person on the ballot. He's a loudmouthed jerkoff.

The only time he's ready to battle anybody is when he isn't likely to get any return fire. The anti-gunners would absolutely love having him as their chief opponent.

Nugent - chickenhawk? You decide

You are probably right on that one, Widge.

I think the nuge is very entertaining and agree with his ideas on gun control but we would probably be better off with someone who can appeal to a much broader crowd and not alienate some people with his lack of polish and "red neck looks"
please don't take offense to that I'm part red neck myself but I feel with need a very family friendly type of person to represent the nra hopefully that way we'll reach more people and get a larger following for guns rights and awareness

I can see your point on the more effective marketing through the presentation of a more attractive spokesperson. But something in me says, that if they prefer slick marketing to the concept of responsible gun ownership being good thing, they'd be a nominal member at best. But, at this time, we do need numbers too.

Just consider these things a few hiccups.

NRA members should nominate Tom Selleck and kick that assclown Nugent to the curb.

+1! That is who I was thinking. Any one that can leave Rosie O'Donnall spiting and sputtering like a fool gets my vote. He carries himself well and does not come off like he fell off the deep end.

This is the first time I have ever pointed out a spelling mistake on a forum... but two out of four words isn't a great average...
