$1.00 tax per round.

Postby Lastgunshop on Mon Oct 19, 2009 9:38 am

I got a call from a friend in St. Paul at the Capitol. It looks like the DFL wants to put a $1.00 per round tax on ammo to help pay for Health care in the State of Minnesota. I will be meeting with some friends tonight and will have an update on who, what, when etc. I will post it here later.

I hope this does not drive people to horde ammo causing another shortage again.

Two hopes of this going through, no hope, and Bob hope. Bob Hope's dead. I'll believe it when I see a link to something in black and white - or red as it's DFL.

It would be nice to have something other than hearsay to go on here. Any links?

Hey, hearsay and rumor are thriving American industries and prime drivers of our information economy. Why do you hate America?

I don't hate America. I was told by my Sister's Husband's Nephew's best friend's Brother in law that this might just be a rumor to instill fear and drive up sales at locations that sell firearms and firearm accessories. I would simply like to see which story to pay attention to. :flag:

Get a rope - tomorrow is Tuesday (mnGlocker's campaign slogan....)

If this is a plan - they are going to piss off everyone in the state of mn that hunts - perios and well, that is a lot of votes... I am having a hard time believing that this going to come to fruition - BUT

Stupid is as stupid does and we will see what Lastgunshop has to offer after his meeting. If we find out who is even contemplating this moronic plan, we should make them famous, and not in a good way.
