This had nothing to do with politics. Those of you who tried to make it so should go sit in the corner. Former President Bush, the wounded soldiers, the dead soldiers and soldiers in general, deserve a little more respect. A kind-hearted Texan showed up to pay respects. That's it.

bensdad thats a good point, military families like those do deserve the utmost respect.

but a politician, who makes his/her living off of public image, certainly has that in the back of their mind any time they make an appearance. Even if they do something 100% out of the kindness of their heart, it still affects their political image one way or the other. Can't check that burden at the door...
