I see your sadness. I wish I could help you.

I see it too. And it saddens me also.

I think the most truthful way to put it, is whoever said, "You already are."

It already kind of is a militia.

If I recall correctly, California deems a "Militia" to be any group of 3 or more people that get together to train with weapons... so in theory I formed a militia on average twice a month ever since I turned 18. Oh, and militias are illegal under the CA consitution, go figure.

As multiple people have said, all of us are already "the militia" per Minnesota state documents.

Anybody in an organized group that publicly announces it is begging for a visit from the ATF, FBI, and DHS. It's just a downright bad idea to publicly post it. That is reality. Not condemning nor endorsing organized groups.

That is a problem with the federal government not with me. Sounds like you know who your master is!

It is in Shotley. The backstory is, the guy I bought it from was (as far as I understand) a retired army engineer, living in the middle of nowhere. The man was also deaf, and apparently had an interaction with some of the locals to the West that resulted in him being hospitalized.
So, he figured that he would out crazy the crazies and build himself a fort. After that he had no real trouble with anyone, because he got a wide berth from everyone.

How I came across it, I bought the 37 acres behind his place, and a few years back he died, so I talked to his widow and worked a deal with her.
