I go by the NRA ratings.

Sorry, don't mean to demean Gun Owners of America, but I trust the NRA over anybody.

You need to wake up if you actually trust the NRA blindly. The NRA hasn't even begun to earn my "trust" when they do stuff like this:

The NRA has had internal spats over the years, just like this guy I think. However it has been the NRA that has saved all of our gun rights over the years. Like a friend told me today, all of the liberals complain of the NRA gun lobby, but never mention Gun Owners of America.

If I am going to trust a gun organization blindly, [and unless I know the candidate personally], I pretty much have to, it will be the NRA.

I can only afford to donate to one organization, and the NRA is my choice.
On another note, you will very seldom not see me wearing NRA logo gear. Be it my hats, t-shirts, dress leather jacket, or shooting cloths, I always carry the NRA Banner with me.

Also, since I don't like Ron Paul, GOA giving him their highest mark, makes me wonder who is in charge over there. I just don't like, or trust the guy.

to each their own. I prefer the GOA AND Ron Paul, but hey, for now anyways, it's a free country.

Personally, I'll take whatever the NRA says with a grain of salt.

And then I'll pay very close attention to what the JPFO has to say. After which, I'll make up my own mind, thank you.

Bahh it's a simple method I use. I vote using the quarter method. Take all the pres. candidates, and start flipping a coin pitting them against each other until I get to the last two. Then I ask the then 4y/o which idiot we should vote for (boy did that get me some looks from the people running the election office-they take themselves wayy to seriously). Now next year he'll be 8, so I will have to change the last part.

Totally independent voter, but will not vote for anyone anti gun (I did not vote for the "change" 3 years ago).
