There are many reasons to not bank with BoA. The gun reasons are probably not even in the top 10.

I read the article. Twice. I still couldn't bridge the logic gap to "...hates gun owners."

Just because it's not explicitly stated, it's not a big leap to make that connection

Maybe you're just better at jumping to conclusions than he is?

ok here. McMillan makes stocks, and accesories and whatnot for rifles. they can also make custom rifles to i believe. they have many many many styles of stocks. im actually getting one of their stocks replaced on my 300 win mag. good for them to say **** you to Boa, and move on. google up McMillan and check em out. however, if you knew al that already, and you meant the gap between gun builders and gun owners then just forget this post haha but still, **** them

Doesn't want to do business with Firearm manufacturer - firearm = gun - gun manufacturer sells to citizen - now gun owner - BofA doesn't want to do business with gun owner either - BofA Hates gun owners. I can see that.

This is the first time in years I've regretted not having a credit card with BofA. I can't take any business away from them them. But thanks for posting this anyway. You have been fighting for one of our most important civil rights for years and I appreciate that. Much unlike some of the new members of this, once awesome forum who have shown virtually no evidence that they value our 2nd amendment right, let alone put any effort into it's continued recognition.
our quarrel is not about the value of freedom per se, but stems from our opinion of our fellow men … a man’s admiration of absolute government is proportionate to the contempt he feels for those around him --Alexis de Tocqueville--

I am having a hard time getting a read on you. most times I read your posts and think you're nuts, an *******, or both. Then I read your 1st post in this thread and agree with you. Then your reply to my post. Now I dont know what ti think of you. Starting to think the poster that posted after you responded to me was right

There was a clever piece of wordplay there. I think you might have missed it.

I am in the distressed credit industry..... I buy distressed debt......... Trust me when I say .......
There were dozens of reasons to hate BofA too voluminous to list here ..... All of the big banks are dirty.... BOfA is the worst in my opinion...
This was my belief prior to viewing this thread.
For BofA ... I have heard of them pulling this kind of crap in several other industries too.... this is nothing new for them.

I'm not endorsing BOA. I have no opinion on their current or prior practices.

I simply do not see the OP's connection from a very onesided article to saying they hate gun owners. First, most major banks do not lend to firearms manufacturers (among other industries) -- better take a look at who you bank with if you feel so passionately about it. Second, most credit agreements require that you operate within the framework of your current business. The company clearly shifted models from components. BOA was within the rights that they and the company agreed to. Of course, this is speculation as I haven't read the credit agreement.

I'm all for supporting businesses that make sweet products. I'm also for the consumers freedom to take their business where they please. I personally don't support unfounded accusations or attempts to sensationalize.

To each their own.

...and before I forget, Heffey, you're a funny guy!

For someone who doesn't have an opinion, you sure make a great apologist. Do you care to backup your claims that major banks do not lend to firearms manufactures? This isn't the first time BoA has been in the spotlight regarding its loan practices regarding companies in the firearms industry.
