He isn't a terrorist. But he wants to meet with them. He isn't a racist, but he gives them money and refuses to denounce them. He was in a marxist environment in his most impressionable years. He and those around him detest America as it is and believe we need to change.

(in my opinion) People embrace him because A) they feel "white guilt" or B) he is black and he will "represent them" - not based on his voting record, not based on his accomplishments. They like his smooth speaking style and his charisma. Not the first time someone has been voted into office on these qualities.

What do you mean "another reason"? There are tons of well well thought out reasons in that video. I mean I might vote for somebody with 1 Muslim name, maybe even 2, but NEVER for somebody with three! To make matters worse his father was Muslim! It doesn't matter that his parents got divorced when he was two years old and his dad moved back to Kenya 'cause "terrorist" is genetic! After searching out a Muslim school, a search that was most likely grueling in a country that is 86.1% Muslim, his non-Muslim mother picked up where his father left off. He was also sent to Catholic schools during his childhood in Jakarta and has chosen to attend a Christian church his entire adult life.... wait a minute how does that help my tenuous point?!?!?

Seriously now, I wouldn't say I agree with many, or any, of Obama's stances on real issues but I am, just a little, sick of the same mindless drivel over and over. There were some interesting things in there which I will now proceed to research. I just wish I didn't have to sit through so much crap to hear it!

All this from a guy with less than one year of political experience. And no real job history besides that....

That's not entirely true. He served 4 years on the board of the Joyce Foundation. Do we really need any other reason to reject him?

I can't believe the guy threw his Grandma under the bus. Just another "typical white person" is what I think he said.

You forgot the flag in his office... with Jose' Cuervo on it! And I wouldn't call Rev. Wright's church "Christian", or call many Christians I've met Christian either... but I do believe he is proponent for change that we will better off without, and I also believe we can't fight against this socialist movement hard enough.

I agree. What I don't agree with is the manner in which some fight and this video overdid it in my opinion. There are plenty of real issues to go around :)

I think he is embraced because he's an empty shirt with charisma. He has no positions, no stances, no opinions, and no platform. He's campaigning solely on 'change'. He refuses to nail down what he means by change, so everybody assumes he means their pet projects. He's a true Rorschach candidate.

Who that is left isn't a proponent of change we would be better off without???

Obama - Filling us with empty promises of puppies and rainbows.
Clinton - Her multiple personalities are getting flat-out creepy.
McCain - Economics what? War will fix the economy, right? Worked for FDR!
Paul - Big talk, but if he tried to pass his ideas he'd just become the most veto'd president in history.

So what's the point? Whoever is elected, will it really make a difference? This is much like a multiple choice test where all of the answers are wrong, but you still have to pick one.

Are you trying to question the facts I found on the intranet? This isn’t just words written on paper or flying around the net. This is video off the net in color with sound and edited and whatever else people do to video. Believe what you want but this is good stuff right here.

You have to pick a baseline of disappointment and then vote on how the candidate differs from the baseline. For example...
Candidate A: Does not stand for anything I believe in.
Candidate B: Does not stand for anything I believe in and will kick me in the junk.

Well, the choice is clear

The most important part of this election is who gets to potentially pick 1-3 supreme court justices!

I won't like Obama's choices or Hillary's choices. McCain bugs me, but at least the nominees will be in the middle or slightly right. Obama and Hillary = EXTREME LEFT nominees.
