Missouri Democrats introduced an anti-gun bill which would turn law-abiding firearm owners into criminals. They will have 90 days to turn in their guns if the legislation is passed.

Dana Loesch Radio reported on the new legislation being pushed by Missouri Democrats:

Any person who, prior to the effective date of this law, was legally in possession of an assault weapon or large capacity magazine shall have ninety days from such effective date to do any of the following without being subject to prosecution.

Here’s part of the Democratic proposal in Missouri:

4. Any person who, prior to the effective date of this law, was legally in possession of an assault weapon or large capacity magazine shall have ninety days from such effective date to do any of the following without being subject to prosecution:

(1) Remove the assault weapon or large capacity magazine from the state of Missouri;

(2) Render the assault weapon permanently inoperable; or

(3) Surrender the assault weapon or large capacity magazine to the appropriate law enforcement agency for destruction, subject to specific agency regulations.

5. Unlawful manufacture, import, possession, purchase, sale, or transfer of an assault weapon or a large capacity magazine is a class C felony.

Sounds a lot like the bills on our state, we just get to keep ours a little longer.

NY, CA, MO, CO, CT, and MN...Which state is next on the "ban guns" ban(d) wagon? I sure hope that the citizens of those other states are putting up as good a fight as we are here in MN. You can be sure the Federal Congress is watching very closely and will vote on the Federal gun ban bill according to how the states play out this Spring.

The Democrats are throwing stuff against the wall hoping something will stick. They are in a minority in Missouri so they have to go overboard just to get a little through. The DFL (Deceit, Fraud & Lies) in Minnesota are the ones who can do some damage.

It's far more likely that we in Minnesota will have our guns confiscated in the near future than gun owners in Missouri.

I was lamenting the fact that Sutton's "brilliant" leadership resulted in disaster that allowed the democrats to grab the house, senate and Governor's office, all in the span of 2 years.

That's his legacy. A parade of failures that will go down in Big Book of Failures.
