You deserve it.

You babble on bitterly about this when you haven't even understood what the debate is about.

Nanny state of Minnesota?

You made a fool out of yourself a long time ago when you started preaching the virtues of socialism and communism. Go live in a communist country and tell us how wonderful life is.

Donald Trump got more fat women moving in one day than Michelle Obama did in eight years.

Yea, back in the late 70's early 80's my dad had a few years where he was in the top income bracket (barely). He tells me of the 70% tax rate and I am sickened. The 70% was just for the feds to....

St. Olaf has said he would like to see an 80% tax rate on the "rich". This dude is little more than a common thief IMO.

Besides legality, I see little difference between breaking into someone's house and stealing money vs. electing someone to confiscate their goods at obscene rates and then redistribute to who you see fit.

yeah I was speaking legally. Essentially I agree with you though. But people will always disagree what constitutes "obscene", as well.

Since, if money is no bounds, people come to the US for their medical treatment, I don't think there is any half-truth in claiming we have the best health system.

This too, is a laughable, just like Boehner's prattle.

The best health care system for the rich is not the best health care system......just a premium system within a poor system.

Again, this is because of the ideology of your rating metrics. Who made your opinion better than mine?

Since the UN passed a resolution in favor of universal healthcare, I wouldn't consider their metrics unbiased either.

So would Klobuchar and Franken be lumped in with Republicans as wanting to deny health care since their efforts to eliminate or reduce the medical device tax would undercut funding by $28 billion for the AHCA.

WASHINGTON - Minnesota's two senators sought Monday to delay a tax on medical devices that was expected to add $28 billion over the next decade to help pay for health care reform.

Democratic Senators Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken pointed to thousands of high-paying jobs that device companies support in Minnesota, headquarters to such giant devicemakers as Medtronic and St. Jude Medical. The industry has painted the tax as a job killer that would hurt innovation.

"The delay would give us the opportunity to repeal or reduce that tax," said Klobuchar, co-author of a letter sent to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid seeking the delay.

Repeal is the ultimate goal of the letter's 18 signers, including Klobuchar, Franken and all the heavy hitters in the Senate Democratic leadership.

Pretty much S.O.P. for legislators to protect jobs in their home state.

I agree with that, but once again you have avoided the direct question.

No, they would be lumped in with the rest of the Dems who didn't read the bill before they signed it.

I thought you'd understand that the answer was no.

Plenty of places for that money to come from other than killing jobs in Minnesota.

Yep. Lots of great ideas. As long as they're paid for with someone else's money.
