What to do?

Postby darkwolf45 on Fri Apr 12, 2013 6:37 am

So the senate is debating universal background checks. How do we hamdle this? In terms of legislators here in the state house and senate things seem more manageable. Even my senator, who as far as I can tell is VERY anti gun, was approachable, respectful and listened intently to what I had to say. That is not to say that I expect to be able to change his mind, but it at least provides me the chance to see if I can wedge the door open just a bit.

Klobuchar and franken though? Klobuchar as near as I can tell is a back door dealling sycophant (and according to my grandma she comes by it honestly from a long heritage that prides itself on this way of doing business) and Franken? Seriously, the man campaigned with commercials of Nancy Pelosi begging us to vote for him because he will do whatever the DNC wants him to. Furthermore, how do you even approach them? You have to wait months just to get a form letter email that basically says "whatevah, whatevah, I do what I want!"

We need to do something, but honestly how do you deal with this kind of "person?"

Keep emailing and calling them. Make them sick and tired of you emailing and calling. Make sure they know how you feel about the situation. They are going to vote one way, but that does not mean they can not see what the voters are wanting them to do.
