Rep. Tony Cornish creates buzz with possible 2016 bid against Walz

Rep. Tony Cornish, R-Vernon Center, who has gained statewide prominence among gun rights advocates, has received plenty of attention since the Nov. 4 elections by acknowledging interest in a 2016 challenge against First District U.S. Rep. Tim Walz.

From a strictly selfish pro-2A MN resident standpoint, would you be happy to see him level up, or would you prefer he stay in the MN legislature?

Tony is such a stand up guy that I would vote for him for any position. Win or lose he's got the balls to tell exactly where stands on issues.

Kinda misleading because Tony has not said he was challenging Walz in 2016. His comment was that it was an expression of interest, a general comment. He also stated the headline misrepresented what he said.
