We reap what we sow. In our case, we have sown our government.

I can barely "SUPPRESS" my excitement !

The law that will affect me the most is the likelihood of reciprocity with North Dakota.

I think it is great that our rights are less limited but honestly never really understood the need for a suppressor.

What is the attraction?

Quiet guns are cool. Gotta save the hearing all that I can.

I am very excited about the bill being passed. I will need to start working on a trust for suppressors now!

Having hearing aids, anything I can do to mitigate noise, big plus as far as I am concerned

The first time you fire a suppressed rifle you'll get it.

Nope, shot a few over a weekend a few years ago at a rep show and did not get it then, still don't get it now. I guess if you were going be shooting some cannon rifle all day then I understand the noise factor or if you have hearing issues I understand the medical part. But on a pistol they really screw up the balance and on AR's and 22's its like silencing a fly fart.

Let's face it 90% of these will end up on a AR while people shoot zombie targets - and I'm glad they now have the right to do it - just not my thing.

So we don't destroy our hearing by age 50. My ears ring badly enough as it is at age 30 from years of playing trumpet in school and all the other loud music, earbuds, and miscellaneous idiocy over the years.

Even with hearing protection, guns are not fully hearing safe. Suppressed guns (22s and subsonics aside) are not fully hearing safe either, but they do reduce the sound quite a bit more and further delay that early deafness.

Also they're cool as hell.

The bill doesn't say you have to buy one.

I can honestly say, I thought this had a snow ball's chance in hell of passing. Thanks to all who worked their tails off to get this through. There is hope.
