Not so clear if the American Suppressor Association, David Goldman (biggest gun trust lawyer in the country), most major distributors, the biggest online retailer, and the Representative who wrote SF 878 all say it is August 1st.

I'm not saying that they aren't all wrong, I'm just saying it must not be all that clear!

It doesn't surprise me that they're wrong, as they're not practicing in the state. Goldman actually tweeted that they are legal NOW, and for hunting on Aug 1st. As for Cornish, he sometimes gets confused on minor details. The vast majority of policy items go into effect Aug 1st. THis one happens to be an odd duck because it's a bill with appropriations.

That all being said, the ATF loves to **** with people.
