Anyone who believes the same 4 liberal justices, who rejected the Incorporation Doctrine via the 14th Amendment in McDonald v Chicago, will now embrace it for carry reciprocity is deluding themselves.
This is a gross simplification of the legal issues at stake here. The decision does open the door to use this decision as precedent for a similar approach with carrying a firearm - however it will require years of litigation before that issue is decided.
