Interesting portion of the West Virginia bill; $50 tax credit for any training for the carry permit.

If revisions to Minnesota's carry bill ever come up, including an income tax credit for carry permit training and the cost of the permit would be awesome!

That would be horrible. Cost would go up by $50 because of the "free tax credit". I know it's a small number, but it is exactly what has caused college costs to skyrocket. There is no such thing as free when it comes to government handouts.

Exactly right. It would be just like subsidized college tuition.

It's not the LAWS you necessarily have to worry about, it's how the laws are regulated.

They must have already had Carry Rights, because when I was thee a month ago, I saw a number of signs prohibiting gun carry as you enter buildings similar to the signs seen in Minnesota. I was travelling on business and don't travel with a sidearm, but it was interesting to note.

This was a crappy headline -- they actually overrode the Governor on Constitutional Carry, they already had a carry permit law.
