Opponents of a Maine ballot initiative that would require background checks for all firearms sales and transfers have raised less than 2 percent of the money that supporters of the Michael R. Bloomberg-backed gun safety measure have collected.

I see on your link you click a radio button for where your donation goes. UBC and the scout are two different things, where does the Scout money go? I'd like to help them and I'd like a chance on the scout. I assume it is all going to fight the UBC.

You'd have to ask them. I'm not associated with them, I just like seeing Bloomberg lose.

The NRA/ pro 2A forces rely as much on the value of 'boots-on-the-ground'/ grass roots labor, Bloomberg hires media people to buy ad time.
Bang for the buck is on our side...not that we don't need to open our wallets from time to time.
