I unsubscribed from Meetup, today.

Got an email from them:

Meetup has always served as an organizing platform for a wide range of political views, welcoming everyone from the Howard Deaniacs to the Tea Party. Meetup will always welcome people with different beliefs.

But after the recent executive order aimed to block people on the
basis of nationality and religion, a line was crossed. At a time when core democratic ideals feel under attack, we feel a duty to spark more civic participation.

Meetup.com is a social media website designed to help groups organize meetings. There have been a number of groups around town that used MeetUp to announce meetings and manage rsvps.

There's only one I still have any involvement with.

The clue that they are Liberal Terrorists™ is their usage of the phrase "social justice". We need an updated EO 9066 for them. I'm so sick of these "people" trying to undermine our nation's sovereignty.

I never made that one. Used to go to the ones at The Local, though. If you REALLY miss those lunches, you could always start 'em up again.

I tried, I was the only one at the Local that day. Food was still good. People looked me funny when I stated talking about guns to myself.

Quitting isn't the only answer. If the site was important to you, why not stay and fight? Seems that is the problem these days, there isn't any interest in standing up to retake what is being corrupted and taken over. Just roll over and let the Lefties take over.
