I feel sorry for the loss of his sister, although I know nothing of the case so not sure what happened. I also have no problem with firearms education, but I have a feeling I know where this money will be spent!

By taking our money and then using it to put "reasonable" gun "safety" laws in place.

Well of course he can't say "gun control", that would be taking tax dollars to promote a political agenda. But "safety", who could be against that?

Seems like a floor amendment might be appropriate - distribute the money to groups in proportion to the number of class sessions on firearms safety they hold.
