I'm not into conspiracy theories, but it's strange that I can't even get to the NRA's or the ILA website?
This site can’t be reached
http://www.nra.org took too long to respond.
Search Google for nra org
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUTMaybe a denial of service attack?
I saw something today about Google censoring all shopping searches for GUN, but that seems almost too sensational to be believed...

Loaded for me quickly. I also read yesterday that the google search “how to join the NRA” has exploded in the last week or so. Lots of new members. Maybe the site is bogged down with traffic.

Maybe. Wonder if the upcoming repeal of net neutrality regulations is going to have an impact on this? As I understand it, ISPs and others are now going to have even more ability to steer or divert your internet traffic the direction they want you to go. And perhaps the away from the direction they don’t want you to go. Haven’t done a ton of reading on this but those provisions lapse in April.

I just talked to a long time friend that lives in MS. He tried to join the NRA yesterday (has not been a member before) and was unable to get through the web page that accepts the payment. I think, the site is simply bogged down, by those people, that are joining.

That would be a good problem to have.
