Visit from John Huot...

Postby Rodentman on Sun Aug 19, 2018 7:58 am

I was in the yard yesterday when DFL MN House candidate John Huot canvassed the neighborhood. I was wearing my NRA cap so the conversation quickly turned to RKBA issues. Despite his assurances of protection of our rights, he said he didn't respond to the NRA survey this year because they didn't "act" on the matters of background checks and bump stocks.

I note that is website says "I will support reasonable and common sense firearms policies that protect our citizens without infringing on the rights of law-abiding gun owners."

Sure. I hate that "common sense" crapola since it means only what they want it to mean. Just like Socialist Sanders and his "fair share of taxes" baloney.

We also spoke of health insurance and he supports the "Medicare for All" concept. I don't think i will be voting for him.

So he told an obvious supporter of the NRA that he didn't agree with the NRA. Crappy politician.

You should have asked how medical for all will be paid for. Sanders idea got quiet when it was shown to cost 41 trillion in 10 years for medical for all.

He did not respond to the MN Gun Owners Caucus Survey either - and did not previously in 2014 or 2016. I believe we gave him an F this year - grades will be out later this week.

I stand corrected, Huot did take our 2016 survey.
