Yep;

Once UBCs are in place, it will be easy to demonstrate the futility of such 'safety measures' without a national registry... which will be a short, ''commonsense' next step for the mindsets that are more interested in ensuring your correct behavior.

The '86 FOPA would be a roadblock. Two questions, can an act be line item repealed, and does the FOPA gun registration ban apply to the states or just the feds?

The 'magic' that turned rifle stocks into machine guns can occur anytime.

All it takes is a few Jeff Flakes in the Senate to change things.
Cory Gardner (R-CO)
Susan Collins (R-ME)
Rand Paul (R-Ky)?
Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)?
Mitt Romney (R-UT)?
Mike Lee (R-UT)?
Ben Sasse (R-NE)?

I meant as far as reducing gun violence. Nearly all of these shooters could/did pass a background check.

You left out John McCain if he were alive and his cling on Lindsey Graham. Who would name a boy Lindsey? That is a name for a girly man.

From the sports bra expert: In all seriousness you folks have an excellent organization here in GOCRA. If the NRA conducted themselves with the class that GOCRA does they would have a lot more respect.

Lol. Mike Lee? He is unequivocally the most devout constitutionalist in both houses of Congress. If he ever votes for any kind of 2A infringement this won’t be America any longer.

The moment we've created a requirement that there exist a proper government paper trail for possession of a firearm to be legal, we've reversed the presumption of innocence.

Possession of a firearm will become a criminal act, for which the existence of the proper paperwork will be an affirmative defense.

Presuming, of course, that F-Troop hasn't lost the record.

Best thing I've read on this forum in a long time. That is the problem with some Republicans. They use the language of their political opponent which says they're losing the battle. John McCain did it all of the time. So did Jeff Flake and Bob Corker.

Exactly. And you phrased it so wonderfully, that I’m stealing it. Perhaps you’ll see your own words staring back at you on a gun forum or news comment section.....soon. Lol.

Just had another conversation with a guy about gun control at the state level .
He said none of that will ever happen . Man, I am tired of hearing that from gun guy's.

I had to tell him . That our new Governor ran on Gun control and the New leader of the state house is a anti gun activist
Also reminded him that Bloomberg and sores put a couple million a year into this state to push gun control.
Damn. I just don't get why people never understand how politics work .
I also get a lot of people, who are completely unaware that there is a anti gun push at the state level .

I worry that if they throw enough crap at the wall some could end up sticking.
