$175K seems like a lot, but I think their expenses are a bit higher. Home in MN, apartment in DC, etc.

Regarding previous poster saying lust for power.... I don't have a solution for that. You even see that in Home Owners Associations.

Maybe the 6 week session with just a little pay is a better idea (as mentioned before)

They get a rent stipend and we pay for their travel :/

We have a solution. It's called the Constitution.

That's why "original intent" is so important.

It wasn't that long ago the MN legislate met part time, every other year.
