Sign of the Apocalypse or what? Fact Check checked a claim that "Universal Background Checks Reduce Gun Violence By 50%" and found the claim was FALSE!!!

It's probably too late for our legislature, unless some want to say, "I TOLD you so" but the above claim by Beto O'Rourke was found to have no evidence to support it.

Yea!

I may or may not have heard this claim from Protect Minnesota but I'm pretty sure I heard it from one of the gun control folk during the legislative hearings earlier this year. But please don't claim it's so if you can't find some evidence to back it up because just my say so isn't evidence either.

The link to the fact check article is here:

Facts only affect those that choose to believe them. Much like laws only affect those that choose to follow them.

We all know that 98 percent of all statistics are made up to fit the occasion.

That fact is quoted by 68%, of the 91% of the people, who don't know what a normal distribution is....

While it was meant as a joke I sometimes think it is partially true. If you want gun control just ask city people and if you want something against it ask country people. Same for nearly anything. Find the right group to ask for abortion, politics, illegal aliens (oops undocumented citizens) etc.

Polling for the last election was a prime example.
