Representative Rick Hanson replied to my emails regarding the omnibus spending/crime/kitchen sink bill.

It's too big to upload here to the site, so here's a link. http://www.post435gunclub.org/downloads/Rep_Hanson_Letter.pdf

Rep. Kelly Morrison responded to my e-mails with a form letter essentially saying 'we have to agree to disagree'. I responded by asking why Due Process was being ignored in the proposed Red Flag statute, and ... crickets. :x

I suppose colonies and king George kinda agreed to disagree as well back in the day.

Or respond back that the proper use of “agree to disagree” is generally accepted in instances where one person is not clearly wrong.

Straight from Bloomberg’s lobbyist with the stuff on HF9. Come with me to Rick and Matt Klein’s next townhall and let’s catch them in some stumbling over the bill’s provisions and their inactions on enforcing and strengthening existing laws.

Sounds like fun. Do you think it would do any good?

The battle isn't to convince them - but to convince everyone else, or at least enough of them that those two feel uncomfortable. 52B is Ruth Richardson...she's SERIOUSLY vulnerable in the next election because of HF9...and she rides these two's coattails.

Emails are far too easy to ignore. Now, handwritten/typed are something else again. And preferably to their HOME addresses. I'm sure there's a list of them, somewhere.

I remember something about "power of the pen"....

If you're actually a constituent of theirs, show up at their town halls....show up at their office....make sure they know your face.

Hansen is my Rep - and I can send him a text or make a call and he'll answer it. We don't agree, but he hears me. He was wavering on Universal Background Checks...and I think if it was a stand alone bill, he'd have voted against it.

Pat's exactly right. Goto their town halls, goto their offices on Lobby Day, keep in touch with them - they will listen.

My Rep is Jamie Becker-Finn. We agree on almost nothing - but we're cordial, and if I call or ask for a meeting, I know she'll take it.

We can't let them think they don't have opposition.

Please do not go to their personal residence in order to communicate with them.

Remember the Alamo? Or whatever happened in Texas regarding constitutional carry.
