You have to ask yourself if what you are seeing is reality or the media source trying to send you that message. It has to be exhausting defending yourself and your administration 24hrs a day. It's not impossible that he just says eff it because he doesn't need the BS. He is very competitive and I think the fighter in him won't let him back away.
