Former Vice President Joe Biden doubled down on his calls to ban “assault weapons” and “high capacity” magazines and to institute other gun controls on the final Sunday of his 2020 presidential campaign.

Biden’s campaign wrote on his official Twitter account: “As president, I’ll ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, implement universal background checks, and enact other common-sense reforms to end our gun violence epidemic.”

Okay, so it looks like Biden for the next four years. Silver lining of the cloud is that the pundits are saying that his margin was so razor thin that he won't find the support for pressing a radical agenda, especially given that the House elections in two years will not be looking that great for the Democrats. We can hope so.

I think the only thing that would stop him is if the Republicans can win the senate next year after the run off elections. Looking doubtful right now
