I should have posted earlier. Needless to say, our local pro-2A organization Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus (MNGOC) is organizing the first of its 2023 events tomorrow. Gun Lobby day will be at the State Capitol and kicks off our efforts to get Legislators to listen to what lawful gun owners have to say about public safety, firearm safety, "gun crime", and the plethora of "gun" Bills that both houses of the legislature have in queue over the next two years...
The particulars are here:

If you didn't already know about it by now it is probably too late, but below is something you can do:

wait for it.

Find out how much your local gun store is contributing to MNGOC. We have hundreds of FFLs in this state and some huge gun shops. A few make substantial, visible contributions to MNGOC but MANY do not. Among those who do not are some of the biggest gun shops in the state. Kindly ask the next time you purchase a firearm, optic, accessory or rent a shooting lane whether your store is a contributor to MNGOC? and at what level?
If they do not know about MNGOC then tell them. If they know but don't contribute, then consider encouraging them because to do so is in their best interest. They may very well be selling air rifles one day if they do not.
My perception is that some of the biggest operators are happy to take our money but are just too _____________ ( you fill in the blank) to contribute some (any?) of their profits to defending our Constitutional Rights here in the state of Minnesota, where they operate...
By the way, MNGOC's Rally to Defend the 2nd Amendment is scheduled for March 25th at the State Capitol. We need a show of many, many, disciplined, lawful and respectful, pro-2A folks in attendance. Info is here:
