Freedom Rally April 4th State Capitol

Postby warrlac on Sun Apr 02, 2023 11:36 am

The Minnesota Freedom Rally (details below) comes on the heels of the highly successful MNGOC Rally for the 2nd Amendment event held at the Minnesota state capitol on March 25th. The Freedom Rally is being organized by a civic and educational 501(c)(3) organization called The Center of the American Experiment.

In contrast to the single issue focus of the MNGOC (defending the Second Amendment), the Center of the American Experiment focuses on educating the Public on policy issues that impact them both as individuals and as a community.

As such, they focus on a broader range of policy topics, many of which are likely to be congruent with the concerns of law abiding Minnesota gun owners. The publicity page for the Freedom Rally states:

One-party control of the Minnesota legislature is quickly producing a leftist agenda that is completely out of touch with mainstream families. Gov. Walz and his allies are using their one-vote majority to ram through a radical agenda in a process that favors raw political power over fairness and transparency. It’s time to push back! It’s time to stop the madness!

Join us on Tuesday, April 4th at 11 AM in the Capitol Rotunda for a Freedom Rally to demand the Minnesota legislature slow down and listen to the people. The decisions being made in St. Paul right now will affect the lives of generations of Minnesotans. April 4th is the final committee deadline day and the last day before the legislature takes their Easter break. The Capitol will be full of legislators, lobbyists, interest groups and the press. The Freedom Rally will make sure the voices of ordinary citizens are heard loud and clear.

Speakers at the rally will include legislative leaders, radio personalities and leaders from the center-right coalition here in Minnesota.

Speakers include:

Senate Republican Leader Mark Johnson

House Republican Leader Lisa Demuth

Rep. Walter Hudson

Jon Justice – KTLK Radio

Ryan Wilson – Freedom Club

Rob Doar – Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus

Renee Carlson – True North Legal

John Phelan – Center of the American Experiment

Isaac Orr – Center of the American Experiment

RSVP on the Facebook event page and share our graphic to let your friends know you’re going!

Homemade signs are encouraged!

All the Rally information can be found here: https://www.americanexperiment.org/events/freedom-rally. (If you want to learn more about The Center of the American Experiment there are links available on the Rally webpage).

The March 25th Rally was satisfying, impactful and effective. Hopefully the Freedom Rally will add even more voices calling for a halt to the DFL's reckless destruction of the US Constitution.

Thanks for posting.

It appears the forecast weather for Tuesday's rally will provide ample opportunity for attendees to demonstrate their resolve.

For the absence of doubt -- The rally is being held inside the state capitol building in the Rotunda. The foul weather (should it develop) would only be a problem during arrival & departure.

Here is a link to a map of the available parking near the Minnesota State Capitol building: https://mn.gov/admin/assets/capitolvisitor.9_tcm36-206004.pdf

It is not 1990 anymore and activism is not longer an option in my opinion...

Thanks for the clarification.

With regards to parking.
A few weeks ago, like many others, I used the former Sears' lot, on the west side of Rice St.
The only lot postings at the time were that one could not park there late/ overnight.
The lot was moderately patrolled by SPPD, who observed the comings and goings of rally attendees, without offering any interference.

I... dunno. I mean it's good that people are broadly questioning the overreach of single-party government, but I'm not sure a coalition with other interests works in this instance.

People are missing the forest for the trees.

Hamilton 68, Qanon, ect are all created by democrats to make republicans irrelevant or look dumb. You can throw in Jan 6th and everything Trump related.

Democrats own 95% of media and even 25% of democrats now say media only lies. Thanks to Obama, our federal bureaucracy went from 54% democrats to over 70%. Our education system is all democrats.

Point I was making is that democrats are basically acting as though they are at war with republicans. They have well funded organizations that focus on intelligence and spreading disinformation. They have organizations that focus on disrupting republicans. They have organizations that basically funnel government money to democrat politicians. Ect.

And the republicans are arguing about principles and rhinos and neo-cons.

We all understand guns, you give an inch they will come for a mile. So we don't give them anything.

They asked smokers to smoke at the smoking section, than smoking room, than outside the door, than ten feet away, we are now talking about 3rd hand smoking and somehow vaping is dangerous, even though nicotine and water vapor is relatively harmless.

If you are saying this is politics as usuall. Well as my favorite comedian asks.

"Are you stupid or are you lying?"
