Similar to what happens in Minneapolis when the doorkickers fried the elderly couple with a flashbang. If they didn't want to get fried, they shouldn't have lived in a house with a similar number to the one for which the warrant had been issued.Thor wrote:While I feel that there were enough Police present to "escort" the troublemaker out of the building, I don't think what the student did justified the use of a taser. It seems that the police are far too willing to use the taser as a compliance device vs. it's original intent of being a less than lethal alternative. Tasers can be deadly to some individuals. What IF.... that student had died while/after being tased??
For all you moonbats out there saying the cops should be suspended, or he should sue, maybe you should know the whole story before deciding that the authority is always in the wrong? This jerk pulls these stunts ALL the time. He has no political viewpoint, he simply wants attention. Read his blog. As for what lead up to this, have NONE of you asked why the cops were standing behind him in the first place? He was at the BACK of the line, and when they called "final question" CHARGED the mic plowing through people who were also in line to ask questions. Even after his mic was cut off, he refused to leave the senator alone, and when asked to leave by the police, he said, "What are YOU going to do? Arrest me? Taser me?" He asked for it from the word go. I'm surprised he wasn't tasered WAY earlier.
