Wheels work fine indoors and in good weather, a inch of rain or a a few inches of snow and they go belly up real fast.

I've got the 5.11 Range bag.

Works for me, I can carry all 14 of my range mags with me, about 500 rounds in the bad, and enough space for all the brass at the end of the day, pocket for all the range tools for cleaning rifle or pistol, pocket for safety / first aid stuff, camera, timer, and the sight black.

As long as we're at it, why do any work at all when we have carbon emitting engines available?

Stay with the Midway bag. I bought two, and I am always range ready. You can always short stuff the side pockets to drop weight, but when this bag is full. the guys at the range know that you are a 'shooter'. Beauty of the Midway bag is, you unzip the front, you have all your tools, mags and a clean surface to adjust/assemble.
Proudly launching lead from a Swiss P-240 at a range near you.
