WTB bull barrel 5.56 AR parts-- FOUND THANKS

Postby JeffD on Fri Nov 02, 2012 5:46 pm

Looking to build a bull barrel 5.56. If you have any parts you want to clear out let me know. I have the lower, I am looking for upper parts and possibly a trigger kit.

PM with anything you have to offer.

I work in Golden Valley and Live west of the cities, I can meet up.

Thanks,
Jeff

I would recommend a stop by Atomic Tactical. Great prices and a good selection.

I have been there and will stop in for sure. I just wanted to see if anyone has some stuff they want to move before I buy new. ;)

WTB bull barrel 5.56 AR parts

Yeah good idea. I bet this week everyone is holding onto their AR parts.

Let's see how next week goes and I bet you can find used. Assuming it goes our way.

Yes but, this Midway item is chambered in .223 Remington, not 5.56mm and there IS a difference in those two chambers. I've sold many DPMS stainless .223 Remington bull barrels and the folks who have reported back to me have been VERY impressed with the accuracy of those barrels.

CMMG does offer stainless bull barrels in 5.56mm chambering.

no question, there's a difference ... jest figured he meant to say .223 ... not a lotta 5.56 worthy of a bull bbl?! ;)

I have three of the CMMG 5.56mm stainless bull barrels here, one is 18" and the other two are 20" in length. I've not shot with any of them and have no direct feedback from other shooters how they shoot.

Has anyone tried the CMMG 5.56mm stainless bull barrels ?

I've got a mini SASS DPMS barrel that's fluted, only 200ish rounds down it and it is pretty decent in the accuracy catagory. Its an older DPMS barrel (back from when I will argue they provided a better product) . Send me a pm if you want it....cheap
