WTT: Side Guard S&W Holster

Postby Paul on Wed Jun 02, 2010 6:08 am

I have a Side Guard holster for a Smith & Wesson 4043 pistol that I would like to trade for a holster for the same model of gun. I like the holster but want to use it with a BDU style belt, which is 2" wide, and this holster will only accommodate up to a 1 3/4" belt. The holster is used, but in good condition.

Based on what I have found on the interweb, the 4006, 4026, 4043, 4046, 410, 411, 5943, and 5946 models with the round trigger guard will all work with the same model of holster. I will e-mail Srigs to verify this, and see if any additional models fit.

Anyway, I am looking for a paddle holster, or comparable quality leather holster with 2" belt slots. PM me with questions/offers.

Thanks.

if you don't find a trade, it looks like you might be able to expand the slots the extra 1/4" - not sure if my perception might be off on the left side slot or not. (I bet Srigs may chime in here - either with an offer to help or to correct me!)

Yeah, I thought about that too. On the left side it looks like that may cut into the stitching. It could probably be repaired, but is not something I feel like trying to do on my own.

Ask Eric what he can do. Pretty sure he has enough there to make it work

I could widen the slots that extra 1/4" and finish and top coat it for you if that would meet your need. Let me know.
