These things are great fun, and now CMMG is offering an adapter to let you use your bolt catch when you have the kit in (and if you update your mag followers and mag springs, you get last shot hold open and bolt catch functionality). It really improves the experience to be able to do mag changes like you can when you've got your 'real' bolt in the rifle.

And since it's a .22 conversion kit, you generally pay for the whole shooting match in just a couple of boxes of .22.
