Lucid HD7 sights are relatively new to the optics arena but have garnered nothing but great reviews, esp. for their price point. I can tell you from personal experience that they are comparable to Eotechs at about half to a third of the price. Constructed around an aluminum frame, they are durable and sport a nice crisp sight picture. All in one unit, no need for an additional mounting bracket. They take one AAA battery and will last for a stated 1000 hours.

Okay guys here's the skinny. I sent payment to globeflyer on Thursday night package was shipped Friday morning I received it monday morning (this morning). Product was packaged well. I was surprised by how well made it is. For the money this is one kick-butt red-dot, it's crazy they can make something like this for under 200 bucks. Quality seems to match much higher unit's (think eotech) I've played with. I haven't had time to mount it up yet, but I will write a review when I do.

Globeflyer communicated in a timely manner, was responsive to my questions, and shipped quickly. I would buy from him again in a heartbeat.

It'll be a little high, but yes, you could put one there.

The optic is designed to have a lower 1/3 co-witness with AR-15 iron sights.
