SPF Dillon 550B with Strong Mount

Postby goalie on Sat Sep 03, 2011 9:37 am

I think it is time to upgrade, so I am going to sell the 550B. It comes with the manuals, a bunch of extra primer-loading sticks, a strong mount, two caliber conversion plates to mount dies, one plate stand (for when it is off the press, so you can store it with dies easily) 9mm and .223 caliber conversion shell plates, one powder measure (with both large and small powder bars) and a cover. Dies not included. $400

But, if you're upgrading to this, wtf kind of POS are you loading on?
Lee turret or 550 are about as low as you can go for a USPSA shooter.

650, LNL AP, or Loadmaster is the minimum if you actually like to shoot.

im on a LNL AP but dont like it. i got a lee disk powder measure that spits powder out every round, and gums up the priming system, so i have to hand prime everything before it hits the press, and i have to deprime and resize everything seperately. id like a 650, but i like the turn it yourself kinda deal with the 550. and i think dillons powder measures are way better than my LNL and lee auto disk. the lnl gets stuck with powder and doesnt throw accurately worth a ****. plus these used arent bad price and its a great machine.

Yeah, it has a new home and a new reloader is (hopefully) very happy with it. :)
