If I can find my 500 in my dads gun safes. You have synthetic then? Why do you want wood out of curiosity?

The rest of my shotguns are blued/wood and i like how that looks. Just wanted to see how it looked with the matte/wood (black synthetic now).

Sorry for the late response. Finally saw my parents after a month in. Florida soaking up sun. Apparently I was wrong and I own a Winchester 1300 and he owned the Mossberg 500...and sold it. Sorry!
