LNIB Harris ultralight bipod w/ rail adapter

SPF: I have for sale a Harris 1A2-L bipod with A.R.M.S. #17 quick detach picatinny adapter. Had this installed on my rifle for a short while. Used it once or twice. Perfect like new condition, $85.

Do you know if this would work on a Weatherby Vangard (All Wood Stock) without a rail? I have never owned a bipod but looked at one Sunday but not certain which one will work with my rifle.

Also what are the lengths of this one? Thanks for any info you can help me with.

L indicates it's a 9-13" model though I don't believe it swivels (flexes side to side) which would be an "S" in the model number. It appears he's got both adapters for a standard sling stud mount (which would slip over your Vanguard's front sling stud and then lock down with a thumb screw) plus the ARMS picatinny rail adapter for use on, presumably, a tacticool AR, etc..
