Oringinally it was the 'Original' DPMS 24" SS Bull barrel .308. About a year after I bought it (2005/6?) I had DPMS in St. Cloud redo/customize it:
1. Replaced the original no-rail gas-block with the 4-rail gas block.
2. Cut/re-crown the barrel to 22"
3. Flute it
4. Change upper receiver from the slab-side to the AP4-style w/ forward-assist and dust-cover.
It served me well as my deer rifle for the better part of a decade. I know there's less than 500 rds through it. I just got a bug and wanted to do something 'different' - you can see what I ended up with in the photos
Includes BCG and charging handle.
Doesn't include optic/mount, they're on the new upper now.
