+1 on the Zero Tolerance

I stock the 0200 for considerably less (w/o speedassist)

Zero Tolerance ZT350. Best knife I've ever owned.

Best price I've seen is the guy who has them at gun shows - I think his company is called "River Bend Knives" or something like that.

Benchmade Mini Griptilian 3 inch, non serrated: semi-serrated version is too hard to sharpen for the small advantage of a serrated blade ( I have both). Removed clip to carry in pocket. Carried this for the last 5 years. I used to carry Gerbers, probably for 20 years, because of the low cost. Switched to Benchmade after I found a full size Griptilian in the street. Full size is too big to carry in my pocket without a clip. Benchmade has much better steel and locks open better than my old Gerbers.

Because I care, I carry.

How about a price range? Is $100 more than you wish to spend? How about $200? 300?

I'd spend 100 no problem anything more than that I'd really have to be convinced

If yer on a budget, and ya gotta compromise, I'd compromise the steel or the length, way 'fore I'd compromise assisted-opening.

Then again, at $100, I don't know that the 3.25in S30V ZT-0350 would be much of a compromise. :?

I just carry my Spyderco Delica 99% of the time. Oh almost forgot Leatherman too. Nothing fancy but they serve the purpose for me.
