Gun Cozies!

Postby The Lower Half on Sun Sep 07, 2008 6:04 pm

This one is more for the ladies... because it's cute, and it's for your gun!

But gentlemen, feel free to take a look...

I was browsing my local craft forum, craftster.org I took a look at the monthly contest entries, this was the first one...

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=267338.0

I guess this has been quite the controversial subject as the mods have had to DELETE some of the comments by other members disagreeing with the appropriateness of the craft.

Take a look for yourself!

Way cool!

The only comment I might make is that after removing the gun lock, you also would have to remove the cozy before the gun would be ready for defensive use.

Maybe we should start another section called "Hockey Moms and Moose Hunters!"

I think it's more of a thing for women to make their gun pretty... kinda like shoes! (even though i hate shoes... i just thought you'd relate better)

My wife loves shoes and spends time on-line at purse and shoe forums. Oh well, I spend times on gun forums so I can't complain.

Yup, I can vouch for that. My wife would rather look at 1911's with me than go shoe shopping.

Yeah, we'll try to keep an eye on that, God forbid you should feel the slightest discomfort...... By the way, did you find something to do with the 37 pairs of your shoes in the front room yet? :P

It's cute and funny, and even though I sew, not my thing. When I think of making my gun pretty, I think of fancy wood grips and the like. Of course, it helps that I don't have a Glock. Not much you can do besides a cozy or some paint to spruce those up. ;)

Neat, I hadn't seen those before. Still not my style at all. ;)
