I mostly carry IWB with Beretta's version of a "Crossbreed" holster. I just always worry that my firearm is going to fall out. Is there a comfortable IWB brand that locks like a Serpa?

I have a crossbreed and I don't see how it could possibly fall out without swinging upside down on a jungle gym located on a trampoline. Can you tighten your retention screws?

This. It's called the professional model. I had leather backing sewed on mine because I didn't like the suede. the handgun locks in then it just takes a tiny twist to pull it out. I have taken and taught a few classes with this holster with no issues and you don't have to push a button near the trigger like with a serpa. Also it is very comfortable. The original n8 2 holsters are garbage as reholstering is damn near impossible to be safe.

I'll 2nd or 3rd N82... especially the 'Professional' model, love it and wish they'd come out with an OWB design of it as well.

Also, it isn't Crossbreed's design... Crossbreed is a knock-off as well - just a pet peeve of mine when people think everyone copied Crossbreed.

Tucker 'The Answer' was the original, I think even Comp-Tac came out before Crossbreed (2001 vs 2005).

My Beretta holsters don't have any way to adjust how snug it stays in so that's why I'm always nervous.

No adjustable retention on the crossbreed, either. I think if I had it to do over again, I might choose a different holster (and I still might at some point), but that's not because of any fear of the gun coming out when I don't want it to. (I've run and jumped with my CBST and never had even the slightest worry that the gun was going to come out.)

I have a crossbreed and have been really happy with it. I typically carry though using a Milt Sparks VM-2 -- I prefer leather over Kydex, but that's a personal think.

I have carried a full size 1911 in a VM-2 with no problems.
